SKIPTON Golf Club have put plan into action as work has commenced on their new Junior Academy and Swing Studio.

The club see it as another stage in the move to confirm themselves as one of the finest golf clubs in Yorkshire.

The golf club is located within the county of North Yorkshire. Founded within 1893, the club was originally located a short distance away in the village of Gargrave before moving to its present site just outside the market town of Skipton in 1896.

The course is known for its magnificent Yorkshire Dales backdrop and in recent years, those involved with the club have been pushing for these added junior facilities.

Once built, the Swing Studio will give the opportunity for youngsters to get involved in the game and to provide them with the opportunity to learn their trade at a fantastic club.

Offering a diverse course in a beautiful setting, their renowned Yorkshire hospitality will keep on improving.
