I FIND it remarkable that someone can criticise this country's national broadcasting authority by inferring that: "..this organisation (BBC) seems determined to keep us miserable for as long as they can. (News of death, Craven Herald letters, September 16).
It would appear that attending "raves or drinking at your local or flying off to the Costa Rica'' is more the letter writer's style.
He also states "Nobody now cares".
Let me tell him who. The hard pressed, underpaid, undermanned staff of the NHS, care homes, poor families and fundraising charities care. That's who cares.
He should take care of his unfounded criticisms and rash, ill thought out statements . Millions of people are caring.
He may even be needing such care himself one day.
