PENDLE Council has revealed details of services due to take place on Remembrance Sunday, November 14.

They include: In Barnoldswick, the service will take place at 3pm in the town square. It will be followed by a procession to the war memorial for the wreath laying. Councillor Marjorie Adams will lay the wreath on behalf of the council.

For Earby, the service will take place at 2.30pm at the war memorial at the memorial grounds in Sough.

Laying the wreath on behalf of the council will be Councillor Rosemary Carroll.

In Foulridge, a service will be held at the parish church at 10.15 am followed at 11am by another short service at the village’s war memorial. Cllr David Cockburn-Price will lay the wreath.

In Salterforth, a service will be held at 10.45am at the memorial, where Cllr Rosemary Carroll will lay the council’s wreath.

A service for Laneshaw Bridge will take place at the memorial garden at 11am, and the wreath laying by Cllr Jenny Purcell.
