MINIATURE pony Mr P made a surprise visit to Threshfield Court Care Centre, in Threshfield, thrilling residents and staff alike.
Everyone at the home was surprised to see the little visitor roaming around the building as K L Pony Therapy paid a visit.
Senior general manager Stacey Nicholson said: “Our residents have really enjoyed their unusual visitors. We knew that having the pony here would be a bit of fun for all our residents especially as some find it difficult to go on many outings in our minibus.
“We are always looking for new activities for the residents and today we have seen the seen the enjoyment and the therapeutic influence animals can have on people.”
Mr P was treated to a carrot from activities co-ordinator Denise Foster in one of the home’s lounges.
