A SERIES of free online classes will start in the New Year, which are designed to help ambitious people in North Yorkshire to become self-employed
The classes are funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) which means there is no charge for participants. However, applicants must be aged 18 or over, of UK or EC nationality, and be unemployed or economically inactive (e.g. retired).
Delivered by Training for Employment (Yorkshire) CIC, the workshops will focus on business planning, marketing and selling, social media, cash-flow, profit and loss, accounts and taxation.
All learning materials will be provided and if you wish to participate your commitment would be to join a total of six 2-hour classes delivered over Zoom. The first class on the new course is set to begin on Wednesday, January 12.
Since 2011 when it began as an LLP, Training for Employment has helped hundreds of individuals to learn about self-employment in a range of industries as diverse as health and beauty, craft-making, sports and fitness coaching, gardening, window cleaning and mobile phone app creation.
