STUDENTS, teachers and staff donned their very best Christmas jumpers to take part in a fundraising non-uniform day in aid of a charity that sends underprivileged children and their families on much needed breaks.
Skipton Academy's come as you like day on Friday, December 17 was held in support of the Skipton based Principle Trust Children's Charity - and everyone pulled out all the stops with a fantastic variety of cheery, festive jumpers.
Everyone paid a £1 donation to go without school uniform for the day.
The Principle Trust Children’s Charity works to improve the quality of life of children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse.
The trust provides free respite holidays so children can spend valuable time away with their families. It owns and operates holiday homes in Lake Windermere, in Blackpool and in Ribble Valley where it sends the children and their families.
