An inquest has opened into the death of Janet Tempest, of Broughton Hall
A CORONER has opened the inquest into the death of Janet Tempest, 91, of Broughton Hall.
Mrs Tempest died on December 25 last year.
Senior coroner for York and North Yorkshire, Jon Heath, said Mrs Tempest had suffered a fall in Kenya in 2004 and had needed care ever since.
A provisional cause of death was said to be frailty and old age and the lasting effects of the accident.
The hearing was adjourned to a date to be arranged.
