A RACE night is taking part at Rolls Royce Social Club, Barnoldswick, next Friday, March 25, as part of a fundraiser for a UK children's charity.
The race night is linked to a navigational driving challenge to Italy, aptly named The Italian Job which sees teams taking to the road in their Minis.
Among them are two couples from East Marton - Steven and Sandra Smith and Sharon and Lee Fenton who are aiming to each raise £1,500 for children's charity Buttle UK.
The challenge was originally due to take place this May but was pushed back to October. It is starting in Imola and finishing in Turin.
However, other fundraising events are still going ahead and one is the race night.
Tickets for the 7.30pm event are £5 per person and £3 for a horse. Ring 07940 262 849 or email theitalianjob2022@gmail.com
The group thanks all its sponsors for their support.
