A PLANNING application to build 27 two-storey homes has been lodged with Craven District Council.
The site is off Meadow Lane/Moorfoot Lane, Cononley and is on behalf of applicant Calvert Homes (Cononley) Ltd.
The proposed dwellings will be a mix of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom properties. The site has also been designed to provide a mix of terraced rows, semi-detached and detached houses.
The external walls for the new build houses will be coursed natural stone. Blue slate will be used for the roof finish. Windows and doors will be upvc and rainwater goods will be Black pvc.
Hard and soft landscaping will be incorporated as part of the scheme. Garden planting and hedges will be included to help soften the visual impact on the surrounding area.
Soft landscaping will be planted to form garden areas to the front and rear of the properties.
Hard landscaping areas will be formed to provide car parking/driveway areas to the front of the properties.
Private parking for each property is provided in the plans within the curtilage of the property or within a shared private parking area. Vehicular turning heads are provided within the proposed scheme.
Vehicular access will be via Meadow Close.
