MEMBERS of Grassington Fire Station have been busy using their ladders to help decorate the village with patriotic bunting in time for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The crew tweeted: "Members of our crew were in Grassington putting our ladders to use helping decorate the town in some patriotic bunting in preparation for the Queens platinum jubilee #NotJustFires"
Meanwhile, on Saturday, a joint event with Craven police, was held at the fire station, in the Old Council Yard, Threshfield, to as part of Water Safety Awareness Day.
People were invited to go along and learn more about possible life-saving techniques and how they could help someone in danger.
Demonstrations were given in what to do if someone is found in difficulty in open water and how to give cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Crew members also showcased their new 'Water Safety Flume' which demonstrates a variety of different open water risks and dangers.
