A RARE chance to see a Dales beck which had been dry for a while, filling up with water after a storm.
Wild swimmer Johnny Hartnell had gone up into the valley at Kingsdale, above Ingleton, at 7am today (Friday) to hunt out a place to swim later this evening. While there he was able to capture on video a rare opportunity to witness a flow of water travelling down Kingsdale Beck as it returned - until the next drought - into a babbling brook. A rare treat for those of us who live too far away to be able to be there at the right time to see it for ourselves.
