FOUR Craven residents have been fined for speeding offences.
Karl Russell, 41, of Higher Raikes Terrace, Skipton, was fined £40 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £26 after admitting exceeding the 30mph limit on the A59 Longsight Road, Osbaldeston, on October 27 last year. Preston Magistrates' Court also endorsed his driving record with three points.
Leon Szpitter, 40, of Kendal Road, Hellifield, was fined £230 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £110 for exceeding the 30mph speed limit in Whalley Road, Padiham, on August 17 last year. His case was prove in his absence at Preston Magistrates' Court on May 18. His driving record was endorsed with three points.
Sara Tempest, 58, Monks Road, Arncliffe, was fined £102 at Preston Magistrates' Court and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £110 after pleading guilty to exceeding the 30mph limit on the B6254 road near Arkholme Primary School on May 15 last year. Her driving record was endorsed with three points.
Arran Anderton, 36, of Riley's Croft, Long Preston, was fined £220 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £90 after exceeding the 30mph limit on the A59 Longsight Road, Osbaldeston, on November 1 last year. The case was proved in his absence at Preston Magistrates' Court. His driving record was also endorsed with three points.
