RURAL police officers are appealing for help in tracing a 'unique' Landrover Defender that was stolen from Tosside in the Ribble Valley at the weekend.
The vehicle was taken sometime between 11pm on Sunday (July 24) and 7.30am the following day from near to the North Yorkshire border. In which direction it was driven is unknown, but police say the vehicle is unique, and when stolen had the registration number plate: R178LFH.
A spokesperson for Colne and West Craven Police said it was hoped the appeal would make the vehicle 'too hot to handle'.
