COMEDY Allstars are heading to Settle Victoria Hall ahead of a week which will also include musicians from the Scottish Highlands and an outdoor performance of Alice in Wonderland.

Just Fair Laughs presents a night of the best of UK stand-up comics on the evening of August 18 with Antony J Brown, Paul Tonkinson, and MC Tony Vino.

Shooglenifty, formed in 1990 by musicians from the Scottish Highlands, Orkney and Edinburgh, will perform at Victoria Hall on the evening of August 20.

The band fuses traditional and traditional-sounding melodies with the beats and bass-lines of a mixed bag of more contemporary influences.

As happy playing a small highland village hall as they are on an outdoor festival stage playing to tens of thousands, the Shoogles - as they’re known to their fans- have promoted Scottish music all over the world for three decades.

The magic of Alice in Wonderland comes to the Victoria Hall for two daytime performances outside on August 21. Folksy Theatre will give its version of the story of Alice, a young, curious girl, who follows a white rabbit down a rabbit hole and ends up in Wonderland.

Filled with live music and puppetry, it’s the perfect show for the whole family.

Revive Live Tour: The Twang is on August 24 as part of Music Venue Trust and The National Lottery’s Revive Live tour. Performances are taking place across the country in grassroots music venues in a bid to bring friends and communities back together.
