ART in the Pen returns to Skipton Auction Mart this weekend, Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14, with more than 200 exhibitors selling a range of arts and crafts.
The annual event was held for the first time in 2005 with a relatively small number of artists transforming the cattle pens at the auction mart into mini galleries to sell their work.
It has now grown into an event with more than 200 artists, many returning year after year.
A spokesperson for Art in the Pen said: "The continued success of Art in the Pen is partly down to its relaxed and friendly environment.
"The events are a great way for visitors to strike up conversations with our artists and meet other art and craft enthusiasts. Whether you’re a collector or buying for the first time, it provides a wonderful opportunity to discover new, emerging and established talent."
Included at the event will be jewellery, woodwork, photography, art, ceramics, furniture and metalwork. Also, glass, paperwork and textiles.
Art in the Pen opens at 9am on Saturday and on Sunday. Entry is £6. Tickets are being sold for arrival times, there is no limit o how long people can stay. More information visit: https://www.themarttheatre.org.uk/
