WATER levels continue to drop at Yorkshire Water reservoirs - prompting the company to urge people to report any leaks so they can be repaired as soon as possible.
This was Thruscross Reservoir, Blubberhouses, at the weekend. Tim Quantrill, who took the picture, said it was probably the lowest he had ever seen it.
He tweeted: "Amazing to reveal features of drowned West End village. Lots of lives were disrupted in building this reservoir - climate change is imperilling our future. This just shows how important it is that Yorkshire Water do its utmost to reduce its network leaks as much as they can. We can't rely on our traditional technology to provide us with public water supply. Use less and reuse more."
Yorkshire Water replied: "Our colleagues are out across the region finding and fixing any leaks as soon as possible. We’re investing in new technologies to help find them faster .If you do spot any leaks please report them to us as soon as possible so we can get them fixed."
