MEMBERS of community singing group, the All Together Now Choir, which has branches in Skipton, Baildon, Bingley and Harrogate, are busily practicing for their Christmas concert.
All branches of the choir will be taking part in the concert, ‘when Christmas comes to town’ presented by the choir’s charitable trust. It will take place at Bingley Arts Centre in Bingley on Sunday, December 11 and will raise money for local charities.
Choir director Chris Kemp said: “The first half contains the wonderful traditional Christmas story, while the second half finds a very local Father Christmas in a pickle.”
The concert promises to combine story and song to put the audience in a festive mood.
The choir’s last concert, ‘Times Like These,’ at St George’s Hall, Bradford, has raised more than £4,000 which will be split between the charities, Down Syndrome Bradford; The Cellar Trust, HELP, Skipton based SELFA, and the Murray Watson Trust.
Tickets for 2pm and 7pm performances of ‘when Christmas comes to town’ on Sunday December 11 at the Bingley Arts Centre, are selling fast.
