POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a trailer from Newchurch-in-Pendle in the Ribble Valley.
The Ifor Williams twin axle TT3017 Tipper Trailer was taken from the Wellhead Road area of Newchurch on Wednesday February 22, after, police believe, being hooked up to a silver-coloured Nissan X-Trail. Lancashire Police say the owner of the trailer, who has only had it since November last year, has been left financially impacted by the theft.
A spokesperson for the Ribble Valley Task Force said: "The stolen trailer is a vital part of the victim's livelihood and this crime has had a massive financial impact on them. Not only have they been impacted by the financial cost of the trailer but also through loss of earnings and increased insurance costs."
