SUPPORTERS of Martin House Hospice are being asked to help raise funds by walking one, two or three of the 'Yorkshire Three Peaks'.
Whether people complete just one or all three of the peaks -Penyghent, Ingleborough and Whernside - at the event on Saturday, June 10 it will all help raise vital funding for the children and young people's hospice at Boston Spa.
Starting from Horton-in-Ribblesdale, the complete route is 24 miles. All routes will be self-led, but walkers will be prepared at the start in Horton by event partners and experienced mountain guides. There will also be support throughout the day.
Martin House provides free care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, from across West, North and East Yorkshire. Its care includes respite stays, emergency and symptom control, end of life care and bereavement support.
It costs £40 to sign up to the Martin House Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, with a sponsorship target of £150. You can find out more on choosing your challenge at www.martinhouse.org.uk/YorkshireThreePeaks.
