FOLLOWING a successful four night run of the panto Hansel and Gretel, it was all smiles in the kitchen when Ingleton Theatre Group raised £827 at its recent jumble sale.
Streams of regulars, plus many visitors, crowded into the hall of the Ingleborough Community Centre to grab a bargain, purchase tickets for the enormous raffle and take their chance at the tombola.
The cake and tuck shop stall did a roaring trade, as did the refreshments. Thanks go to all the theatre group members as well as all those that supported the sale. As a bonus, two potential recruits showed interest in joining the friendly team of actors, backstage crew, technicians and wardrobe ladies.
The Theatre Group’s next event is the AGM and social night at 7.30pm on Thursday, May 4 at Ingleborough Community Centre.
After a short business meeting, a licensed bar will be open, and there will be an audio-visual presentation of the highlights of this year’s highly successful panto.
New members are most welcome to come along to join in the fun. No experience is needed. For further information, email: ingletonpanto@gmail.com.
