PLANS to relocate the outdoor cellar at The Royal Shepherd Inn, Skipton, have been submitted to North Yorkshire Council.
Owners, The Stonegate Group, have applied for planning permission and listed building consent for the work at the pub in Canal Street, some of which has already been carried out. The plan includes the replacement (relocated) outdoor cellar, cooling condensing unit and the installation of two, replacement retractable awnings within the existing side terrace/outdoor seating area.
Other applications amongst the first to be verified by the new council, following the end of Craven District Council at the end of March, are: Prior approval notification for the proposed conversion of the ground floor and lower ground floor from retail to a dwellinghouse at 19 Water Street, Skipton; Conversion of existing garage into habitable room, first floor extension to existing house above existing garage to create two additional bedrooms at 9 Park Wood Crescent, Skipton; Change of use to gymnasium for indoor sports and recreation at Unit 7, High Corn Mill, Chapel Hill, Skipton; extension of existing annexe at 81 Gargrave Road, Skipton; Installation of solar panels within existing dwelling's garden (retrospective), at Meadow Croft, Stirton Lane, Stirton, Skipton.
