WHAT a servile advert for the British people to be presented to the world of the 21st century.

I am, of course, referring to the coronation of King Charles, who, with Camilla, so cruelly betrayed Princess Diana.

While ordinary people count the pennies, millions of pounds are wasted on the hopelessly out-of-date institution that is the British monarchy, which only exists because the ancestors of the so-called royals were bigger thugs, robbers and killers than everyone else's ancestors.

To expand the old saying - at the time of the Peasants' Revolt of 1381 - 'when Adam delved and Eve span, who was then the gentleman?' I would add: 'and who was then the King or Queen?'.

And as for all the talk of the royals having a dedicated sense of duty to the country, I would say that the only sense of duty they have is to maintian their life of luxury at the expense of the general public. Three cheers for Lord Protector Oliver Cromwell.

PS. I would like a nice river view from the Tower of London and I hope the axe is sharp because I don't want it to ruin my hair.
