SKIPTON MP Julian Smith was many of the visitors to drop in on the three-day Skipton Beer Festival last week.
Organised by the Keighley and Craven Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), the festival at Skipton Town Hall got underway on Thursday evening and ran until Saturday.
Mr Smith met with and was shown around the festival by Tony Davies of the Skipton Beer Festival organising committee, sampling a few ales from the very wide range of more than 60 Real Ales on offer.
Mr Smith said: "It was very good to see that the festival was very busy, with a great atmosphere – thanks to the Keighley and Craven CAMRA for organising it."
There was also real ale on KeyKeg and a range of cider and perry, wine and soft drinks, and food at all sessions provided by town butchers Otley Street based Drake and Macefield with their award-winning pies.
