OUTLlNE plans for three new homes and the creation of allotments on agricultural land west of Fold Lane, Cowling, have been lodged with North Yorkshire Council.

In a planning statement submitted with the plan, which seeks the principle of development, it is said that an indicative scheme for the site proposes a terrace of three, three bedroom homes, with access off Fold Lane.

Other applications received by the council in the week to May 23, include: Replacement of existing detached garage with new build of slightly larger dimensions at 1A Springfield Crescent, High Bentham; single storey side and rear extension at 3 Lynndale Avenue, Cross Hills; conversion of an existing field barn to create a new dwelling with associated landscaping works at Bordall Barn, Clapham Road, Austwick; removal of existing summer room, erection of new thermally insulated single storey extension to same footprint at 39 Hammerton Drive, Hellifield; two agricultural buildings at Panbeck Farm, Hellifield; replace broken and crumbling stone and Burlington roof slates with like for like at Hillside, 3 Constitution Hill, Settle; proposed single storey side and rear extension at 52 Long Meadow, Skipton; change of use from flats to one residential dwelling at 21 Belgrave Street, Skipton.
