TIME is running out to buy raffle tickets to win a beautiful 'Sophie’s Universe' blanket, crocheted by Settle Orchestra’s leader, Anne Heaton, as a fundraiser for the orchestra.
The draw is due to be made at Settle Orchestra’s concert on Saturday, June 24 at Christ Church, Skipton.
Anne has also created a beautiful cushion which will be the second prize in the draw - giving people the chance to win either the blanket or the cushion - or even both to an extremely lucky ticket buyer.
Tickets are £5 each and are available from members of the orchestra, from Forage and Feast in Duke Street, Settle; and Purl and Jane, Mount Pleasant, off High Street, Skipton.
The concert on June 24 will feature music by Beethoven, Dvořák and Schubert. Conductor will be Xinjie Yang; leader, Anne Heaton and Anna Tulchinskaya on violin.
Sophie's Universe is a continuous square, crocheted blanket with lots of surface detail, first released in 2015.
