THE staff and pupils of Threshfield Primary School in the Dales enjoyed a 'fantastic' RE day on the theme of Pentecost, exploring different themes with the help of fruit kebabs and windmills.
The Rev Peter Thomas from Grassington helped with the planning and delivery of the day, focusing upon the themes of inclusion - ‘we all are welcome.’ Gifts, abilities and talents - ‘we all have something to contribute,’ and sharing with others - ‘we all have something to offer.’
Peter said:" Activities included, windmill making, dove mobiles, fruit kebabs and using our gifts to help others. The various classroom groups sharing together added an element of fun and learning, thoroughly appreciated by all involved. It was an excellent event."
