SOME of us had torrential rain and even hailstones late yesterday afternoon, others heard thunder in the distance, and some had nothing at all.

These pictures were taken around Barnoldswick by Zoe Hodkinson - who having seen the storm clouds start to gather, positioned herself for some wonderful pictures - and got very wet into the bargain. 

Paul Peppiate also took pictures from Embsay, looking towards Skipton. Embsay had very little rain.

Clearly, a very localised storm that passed over very quickly!
