SKIPTON High Street will be buzzing on Sunday (June 25) for the popular Sheep Day.
The Sheep Show will once again be the highlight of the event, which will take place on the closed High Street.
Performed at shows across the country, the Sheep Show is all about sheep and wool and is both educational and fun.
There will be live music all day hosted by Rombalds Radio, as well as petting zoos, and a variety of food and drink.
The event will also mark Armed Forces Day with an appearance from Haworth Home Guard and the 5th Regiment Royal Artillery, Catterick.
At 3pm at Holy Trinity Church, there will be the lowering of the Armed Forces Day Flag after which it will be given to a veteran.
To help with parking, there will be a park and ride for the event from Gateway House, on the outskirts of Skipton. The event is organised by Skipton Town Council with support from Skipton BID.
The High Street will be closed from 5am until 8pm. The event will run from 10am till 5pm.
