THE owners of Sough Bridge Mill, Colne Road in Kelbrook, Barnoldswick, have applied for outline permission to build three new industrial units and an office building at the mixed use, industrial site.
The application to Pendle Council by AB Investments NW Ltd also seeks permission to demolish two existing units and the removal of storage containers in the rear yard.
A design and access statement with the plans conclude: "The development would provide good quality industrial and office units that would bring a positive contribution into the local area without creating a significant detrimental impact on the amenity of the local occupiers and residents and the environment.
"In addition, the development would also bring part of an existing yard area back into an appropriate use, providing an enhancement to the existing mill and the surrounding area."
