FANS of Anthony Horowitz are in for a treat in August with a production of his 'Mindgame' by Skipton Little Theatre.
Screenwriter and children's writer, Horowitz is the mastermind behind Foyle's War, the BBC's New Blood, Alex Rider, the Sherlock Holmes novels, House of Silk and Moriarty, and the James Bond novel Trigger Mortis.
Mindgame, a psychological thriller, tells the story of Mark Styler, a renowned author of true crime sensationalist novels, as he attempts to secure an interview with a famed serial killer.
Little does he know the world he is stepping into - and his first challenge is to navigate past Dr Farquhar, the eccentric head of Fairfields, the institution where the serial killer is housed.
Mindgame is at Skipton Little Theatre from August 1 to August 5, evenings at 7.30pm and with a matinee on the Saturday at 2pm.
Tickets: £10, and £5 for under 16s. Booking online: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/skiptonlittletheatre/e-bdxxov; phone 0752 714 1176 or email: skipton.little.theatre@gmail.com
