A TALK on Skipton Market 'past and present' will kick off the new season of talks by Skipton Civic Society.
Claire Nash, a member of Skipton Town Council with a knowledge of the town's development, will deliver the talk on the market at the first of the monthly public speaker meetings on Wednesday, October 4.
Claire will speak about the market from its medieval origins to current issues.
The talk will take place at 7.30pm on October 4 at the Education Room, Skipton Town Hall. New members are welcome and can contact the society by email: contact@civicsocietyskipton.org
