AN art exhibition named Pause is being held at Craven Arthouse, Otley Street, Skipton.
Pause is a collection of works by Denisa Francis, reflecting pauses or quiet moments in her life as a mother and female artist. Short pose life drawings capture the female body in brief pauses during all stages of life including the unseen older woman.
A dive into changes which happen during menopause shows overlooked beauty as it changes through life.
Parenthood is represented through drawings and casts of the human form.
The exhibition starts on Wednesday, October 11 and will be on until November 14. The Otley Street gallery in the Craven Arthouse and is open Wednesday to Saturday between 11am and 4pm.
