A PRIOR approval notification application for the conversion to a house of an agricultural building at Moss Bar Farm, Colne Road, Cowling, has been made to North Yorkshire Council.
In submissions to the council, it is stated that the applicants live in Cowling and wish to convert the agricultural building, which is off Reedshaw Lane, outside the main built up area of the village, to provide 'residential accommodation to meet their future needs.'
It states that the building is in good condition with the plan that it be made into a single storey dwelling with amenity area and parking for two cars.
"The design and external appearance of the building would remain agricultural in character, and therefore no harm will be caused to the appearance of the building or the character of its surroundings."
