OUTLINE plans to build four bungalows on land next to Manor Park, Cowling, have been submitted to North Yorkshire Council.
The bungalows would be detached have off-street parking and of a design 'similar to the existing houses of Manor Park', with access off Manor Park.
The application seeks to establish the principle of building at the site, which is described in the application as 'disadvantaged agricultural land and as such is of low biodiversity and amenity value.'
A design and access statement with the proposals states: "The site is located within the existing built up area with pedestrian and vehicle connections to local facilities and services and is therefore considered a sustainable location.
"The proposed dwellings are adjacent to the built-up area and relate well to the adjacent buildings. The access is established and the parking requirement is accommodated with the new site."
