CRAVEN College has a number of free part-time courses starting from January for adults aged 19 and over, who are thinking about gaining new skills for employment or want to take up a new hobby.

Part-time courses include dry-stone walling, criminology, sign language, digital skills, Indian head and face massage, and accounting, and residents of specific North Yorkshire postcodes will be eligible to study these courses for free.

Many other part-time courses available from January, such as dog grooming, languages, plastering, plumbing, gym instructing, ceramics, silversmithing, and many more, start from £65.

A spokesperson for Craven College said: "Any of Craven College’s January 2024 courses are ideal for those who are thinking of taking up a new hobby, studying for their own personal development, or improving skills for a career change or promotion."

The college also has starting in January courses for 16 to 18 year olds, who are currently not at school, college or in employment; travel and aviation courses at its Leeds Bradford Airport campus, and a 'fresh start' course for those who are unsure about what they want to study.
