A VARIETY of stalls and festive goodies are promised at St Wilfrid’s and St John’s Christmas fair at Burnsall Village Hall on Saturday (December 2).
There will be many stalls selling home baked cakes, jams and preserves; an ever popular White Elephant stall, and a 'good as new stall.
Also on offer will be books, CDs, DVDs and videos; toys and games; a raffle with prizes including a huge hamper and vouchers for meals; a tombola; and many other attractions. Breakfast butties will be available from around 9am and for lunch and tea there will be hot turkey sandwiches and homemade Soup, and Mince Pies throughout the afternoon.
Guest stalls include: All Plants North - wreaths, plants, arrangements, Christmas Tree (orders taken), Libba Utley of Kildwick High Quality Home made goods. Jewellery, Scarves, Soft Toys, RNLI, Phoenix cards and wrapping paper, Children’s Books, Candles, Toiletries and Christmas Gifts.
The fair will run from 10am to 3pm. Parking available in the school playground.
On Sunday, there will be a traditional service of carols and readings to celebrate Advent Sunday and the beginning of the Advent Season. The service, which will be led by Rev Matthew Wood, will be held at St. John’s, Appletreewick starting at 6pm.
