THE district woke to a dusting of light snow this morning, but what's in store for the coming days?
The Met Office says Skipton and the rest of Craven will remain cold but there shouldn't be any more snow until early Sunday when light snow is forecast in the morning. They do state there may be a few 'flutterings' of snow in the meantime.
Temperatures should rise to 2 degrees C today before plunging to minus 3 degrees C on Friday morning.
The coldest overnight temperature within the next few days is tomorrow night (Friday) into Saturday when minus 5 degrees C is forecast.
Drivers and pedestrians are being warned to watch out for black ice.
Temperatures are due to rise a little from Sunday afternoon with some rain forecast for Wednesday.
