AN Earby-based charity has brought some Christmas cheer to poorly children at Airedale General Hospital.
Ward 17 reached out for help to Robert Windle's Foundation, based in the Old Grammar School, in School Lane, which in turn leapt into action.
Foundation trustee Gary Kay said: "We’ve just donated arts and crafts for the children’s ward, ward 17 at Airedale, after they reached out for help. Even though they (Airedale Hospital) is out of this area, a lot of Pendle children go to the hospital and we couldn’t say no to helping."
The picture shows Gary and Karen at the hospital with some of the items the Foundation has donated.
Gary added that the ward has a 'wish list' on Amazon which can be found at: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/1AEHQ6PZA1IQH/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_1 More about the Robert Windle's Foundation can be found at: https://www.robertwindlefoundation.org/ or on its Facebook page.
