MEMBERS and friends of Craven Lawn Tennis Club had an enjoyable end of season presentation evening at Herriots Hotel in Skipton.
Annual awards of the Gargrave-based club were handed out, including a special award for long-serving committee member, Trevor Dixon.
Awards went to Sally Hopkinson, Vera Fell Trophy; Graeme Southam, John Hill Cup; Sally Clarke and Graeme Southam, President's Day Cup; Kat Ross, Most Improved Player Cup; Beth Whitley, Joan Wilson Trophy. Trevor Dixon received the Special Award in recognition of his 30 years on the club committee.
Craven Lawn Tennis Club is open to both members and guests, catering for both social and competitive tennis. It has two floodlit courts, which means players can now play during evenings throughout the year.
