THE second and last of Skipton's festive markets is due to take place this weekend.
Organised by Skipton Town Council, Sunday's (December 10) Christmas Market will take place on the closed High Street and across the town.
Kicking off at around 10am, regular market traders will be joined by more than 50 additional stall holders selling all sorts of things, ideal for Christmas.
Rombalds Radio will be there with a stage featuring live music and entertainment throughout the day, with more entertainment taking place around the town.
The event will finish at around 4pm on Sunday with a carol service inside Holy Trinity Church, and supported by Barnoldswick Brass.
Tobias Garbutt, the town council's events supervisor, said: "This event is such an important day for retailers and market traders in town. We are continuously looking at ways to evolve the event and improve the visitor experience."
“We pride ourselves on the entertainment at the Skipton Christmas Markets – it's what creates the festive atmosphere, the wonderful experience and the memories for event goers."
This year’s line-up includes performing arts students from Craven College, Kylan and Harvey; Extreme Fusion, Mark Gregory, and more throughout the day.
