MORE than 100 children turned up for the first ever 'elf school' at Grassington Town Hall.
Lots and lots of Santa's helpers packed the hall for a magical, two hour, fun filled session, learning key 'elfing' skills such as snowball etiquette, making reindeer food, and decorating biscuits.
The session finished with a graduation ceremony by the Elf Queen, played by Mary Wilkinson, with all the children receiving a bell from the sleigh.
A spokesperson for the Devonshire Institute, which is staging an increasing number of events for children, said parents were already wanting to book for next year.
The spokesperson said: "Comments from parents included “Thank you so much to all of the elves and people behind the scenes who made the elf school so lovely. The activities were fantastic, thank you for giving up an opportunity to make memories."
Upcoming events include a Peppa Pig cinema party in February and a magician in April.
