BARROWFORD man Alex Sitaras has been promoted to Skipton Building Society’s head of savings products and propositions.
He attended Walton High School, Nelson and Nelson and Colne College before receiving a degree in geography from Salford University. Now, Alex has settled in Oakworth with his son, his girlfriend and her young daughter.
Alex began his career at Skipton Building Society fresh out of university, spending two years in the operations team, working behind the scenes to support customers with everyday transactions, before progressing into the savings product development team.
Alex said: “I’m excited to get stuck into my new role overseeing the savings and propositions team. I have worked hard over the years to learn the business and have thrown myself into the challenges that have been thrown my way.
“I feel really humbled to have received this exciting opportunity and look forward to what I can achieve in this next chapter.”
Skipton Building Society has been helping people into homes and making their money work harder since 1853. This year the society celebrated its 170th anniversary of serving its members, helping them into homes and reaching their financial goals.
