A SKIPTON man has lost his driving licence after admitting a speeding offence.
Liam Farrow, 35, pleaded guilty to travelling at 84mph in a Mitsubishi VRM on the M180 in North Lincolnshire on January 21 this year where the speed limit was 70mph.
Farrow, of Church Street, Skipton, was fined £220 by magistrates sitting in Hull on December 4. Farrow was not present in court.
He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £88 and court costs of £110.
Farrow was also disqualified from driving for six months; 'obligatory due to repeat offending' magistrates said.
A separate offence of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver on March 1 this year was withdrawn.
Farrow must pay the balance of £418 by January 2, 2024.
