BARNOLDSWICK Brass Band has a busy weekend ahead, entertaining the shoppers in Barlick tomorrow (December 9) and at Skipton's Christmas Market on Sunday.
Members recently put on their best festive jumpers for the charity Save the Children's Christmas jumper day and held a collection, boosted by a donation from Prosperity Lodge of Freemasons, Clayton le Moors Accrington. On Sunday, the band, which also played at last weekend's Skipton Christmas market, will once again accompany the carol service at Holy Trinity Church Skipton, which is due to start at 4pm.
On December 23, the band will be performing favourite Christmas music at the Gamekeepers Inn, Long Ashes, Threshfield. Free admission, starts at 6pm.
The band rehearsals are on Monday and Thursdays evenings between 7.30pm and 9.15pm at Barnoldswick Civic Hall.
New members are always made welcome. For more information, find Barnoldswick Brass Band on its Facebook page.
