MEMBERS of Settle Methodist Church recently celebrated the eighth anniversary of the opening of their new church building.
It was in December, 2015, when the congregation moved across the road in Church Street to new premises.
The anniversary celebrations were attended by the Rev Kerry Tankard, Chair of Yorkshire West District of the Methodist Church, who led the service.
All are welcome at a candlelit carol service on Christmas Eve at the church at 6.30pm.
The Settle Methodist Circuit includes six churches: Settle, Bentham, Burton in Lonsdale, Ingleton, Newby and Hellifield. It is the biggest circuit area-wise in the Yorkshire West Methodist District, stretching from Hellifield in the east, over 18 miles to Burton in Lonsdale in the west.
