THERE was a ‘miracle in town’ at the end of term at Skipton Parish CoE Primary School.
The children from reception and key stage one classes performed the popular 'Out of the Ark' production, retelling the story of the very first Christmas.
The children played traditional roles including Mary, Joseph, the angels, shepherds and the Three Kings, who travelled to Bethlehem on some sassy dancing camels. As well as providing a traditional Christmas entertainment to the school community, the performance also helped the children to learn about the importance of Christmas as the time of Jesus’ birth.
The school held three packed performances, including a special one for the nursery schools in the area.
Head teacher Lucy Peberdy said: “Once again our wonderful children have risen to the challenge and made us proud of the way they have learned their parts, the songs and even some dance routines”.
