MOTORISTS on Craven's roads on Saturday evening may well have been surprised to see enormous tractors festooned in fairy lights - and all in a good cause.
More than £20,000 has been raised - so far - by Lothersdale Agricultural Discussion Group's annual Rudolph Run tractor run on Saturday.
Around 170 festively decorated tractors took part with this year's event starting in Otley and finishing once again in Skipton. The procession of tractors set off at around 6 pm near Cross Green in Otley, travelling 25 miles through South Craven before finishing in Skipton High Street some two hours later.
Those to benefit this year will be Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
