PEOPLE on their way to Airedale General Hospital's Outpatients Department just before Christmas were given a boost by the combined playing of brass players from Skipton Brass in North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire Brass and Haworth Brass in West Yorkshire.
The bands from North and West Yorkshire united to play carols and Christmas music outside the outpatients entrance at the Steeton hospital.
A spokesperson for the three bands said: "During the performance, hospital staff collected festive packed lunches from a gazebo nearby. A bonus ensuing from the event was concerned outpatients visibly relaxed as they stopped to listen, on their way from the car park to their appointment."
