SKIPTON Athletics Club members dressed up as Santas and Elves and carried out a festive run in aid of Grassington based Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association.
The annual fundraiser for the fell rescue team raised an impressive £1,400, which will go towards the cost of running the service, which for 75 years has been rescuing both people and animals from the caves and fells of Upper Wharfedale.
A spokesperson for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association said: "We are once again indebted to Daz Lambert and his team of elves at Skipton Running club for their Christmas club run in aid of Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue.
"A great turn out of festively clad runners took to the streets and fields of Skipton to raise a staggering £1,400 for our team. We are so grateful for the support of this generous group and we would like to say a huge thank-you."
