LOOKING for some mid-winter motivation to set you up for the summer? Then how about signing up to take part in the Cave Rescue Organisation's Ingleborough Challenge.
And if the 26-mile Ingleborough Challenge is a bit much, how about the 12-mile Clapham Circuit. Both are open to runners or walkers, and both start and finish in Clapham.
Due to take place on Saturday, May 18, the routes use footpaths and tracks seldom used, taking participants along some of the most attractive areas of the Ribble Valley. There are limited places available so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
Those taking part are asked to raise at least £25 per person for the Ingleborough Marathon or at least £15 per person for the Clapham Circuit. Everyone receives a medal and a certificate with their time that it took them to complete the event.
